The second Semi-Public Workshop has been announced for 11th December. The ongoing restrictions that we are all facing caused by the Covid-19 pandemic means of course that this will be a virtual event, as have so many other meetings and webinars been in 2020.

The Workshop will be an opportunity for the technical and research teams to update those attending with the latest news on how the project is moving forward, what has been achieved, highlight a few difficulties faced and the plans ahead for the remainder of the project.

2020 was to have been a very important period of integration, bringing all the TERRIFFIC components together, but the Covid travel restrictions have certainly impacted on this. We have had two successful face to face integration meetings, however, in March and September, but unfortunately it was not possible for all partners to travel. Remote integration has played its part as well, but there is understandably some more work to be done.

Despite these obstacles, a lot of progress has definitely been made and we are very confident about what we need to do in 2021.

As the Semi-Public Workshop is open by invitation only, it is unfortunately not possible for everyone to attend that might wish to. However, if you are a practitioner or first responder working in CBRNe and would like to attend the Workshop, please send us an email via the Contact page.

A full Public Workshop will be held towards the end of the project in 2021, so look out for the announcement on this website and in social media and we hope to see you there in person. Until then, thank you for supporting the TERRIFFIC project.
